EroFlair Games has launched a new game called The Contest at Houndgate, which is version 2.5. The game’s plot revolves on a text-based CYOA RPG set in a huge medieval fantasy metropolis. You play as a customisable newbie adventurer seeking to establish themselves in a strange contest organized by the city’s lords. Explore the city, find jobs wherever you can, and fuck or get fucked until you reach the top.​

Bugfixes:

Fixed some clumsy code.
I fixed many more pronoun problems in the introduction.
Fixed Alyks’ race not changing properly in various passages based on settings.
Fixed the possibility of becoming trapped in the guild intro after chatting to Vincent.
Fixed several difficulties with activating one of Remi’s sequences.
General new additions:

The game now features some branding, including a new logo.
Saves now display the location you were in when you saved.
The first character stats are now available: weapon skill, charm, and stealth. These will influence the results of some events depending on your level.
The Church is a new site that may now be discovered. Only the initial finding has been executed.
Settings now include a “Voyeurism Content” option.

Broken Shield Inn:

You may now practice your Charm talent with Alyks. Doesn’t accomplish anything right now, it sets up the structure.
Adventurer’s Guild:

There is a new mission for liked members; chat with Vincent about it. Investigate weird noises at a cemetery. You know, adventurous stuff.
Added the opportunity to practice your Weapon Skill with Vincent or Riqa, depending on guild status.
A devoted companion, a Guild-loaned horse, has been added. You may find it at the Adventurers’ Guild.
New scenes:

If your Weapon Skill is too low or you forgot to bring a weapon, the new assignment will end with a defeat scene. Tags: Defeat, Monster, Spanking, Bondage (optional), and Voyeurism.
I included a hidden scene.

My first game, so please be gentle:pIt’s a Twine CYOA game at core, but I’m making significant progress to distinguish it by using RPG aspects to spice up the experience. I’ve played a LOT of these sorts of games, and I believe I have a strong understanding of what works and what doesn’t in terms of fundamental gameplay.

The game currently lacks graphics, but I intend to build at least some form of paperdoll system in the near future.

Developer Notes:

I’m working hard to make the game as inclusive as possible, so practically all of the content/kinks will be toggle-able On and Off, so if furries aren’t your thing, you can alter your settings and the typically furry characters will be replaced with human versions. Furthermore, I’ve introduced a two-tiered choices system to the furry material so you can make them “Partial” if you like; for example, the currently implemented “Catfolk” woman NPC in the game may be the player’s choice of

A Feline/Cat Furry.
A typical “Catgirl” (a human lady with cat ears and tail).
A normal, human lady without any anthropomorphic traits.

This is the approach I’m adopting with all of the accessible material, which I hope will help distinguish me from the sea of similar games. I’m being quite diligent with my writing to ensure that everyone receives an adequate amount of content.
