Kompas Productions Games has launched a new game named Summertime Saga, version 21.0.0 wip.5252. The game’s plot is around a young guy just starting college in a small suburban town who is devastated by his father’s death. The mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder are only the beginning of his adventures, as he discovers that his father owed money to a bunch of unscrupulous crooks. Adding to the litany of issues, our young hero must save enough money for his college term and locate a girlfriend for prom night!​

Wrote a save migration to completely reset Debbie’s progress in anticipation for her rewrite.

Reviewed attribute management to allow for greater flexibility when showing backdrops.
To make the first name screen more mobile friendly, we tweaked the attention management.

I flipped the corridor between the entryway and the living room.
Annie and I fixed the soft lock outside Mrs. Smith’s office.
Resolved an issue with older saves that was having difficulty accessing the phone.
Numerous art metadata additions and typo repairs.
Minor presenting concerns with mouth movement in teacher routes have been addressed.
Stopped Debbie’s sink from breaking prematurely when she was asleep in the beach home.

Console Activation

! Please use the console with caution since it can lead to major issues. Only enable it if you understand the risks involved.

1) From the main game directory, browse to the Renpy folder, then enter the Common folder.
2) Open the 00console.rpy file using Notepad++.
3) Look for the code that says: # If true, the console is enabled even if config.developer is set to false.
4) Change the following line from config.console = False to config.console = True.
5) save and close the file.

To open the console in game, use SHIFT + O.
To close the console, type “exit” or right-click.

Cheats

Increasing stats (+1, Max 10) through the console might create errors and prevent events from firing, especially in the sister narrative line. Therefore, these instructions have been deleted.
– Set money: player.inventory.money = 99999.
